Making a 'second' comeback!
Sometimes you have one of those years that you just wish would vanish and I guess this year is one of those for me!
I disappeared again due to my husband having a heart attack and what a traumatic time it was, at one point it looked very much like he wasn't going to make it, but he pulled through and has had some surgery. He still needs monitoring so is not completely out of the woods, but the outlook is cautiously good on many levels. At the same time my beloved uncle passed away which was extremely sad. And another cause for sadness was the news that a young relative had a bout of tonsilitus - generally something that is more of a nuisance for a few days, but for some reason it attacked his body to the point where he fitted and his heart stopped. He was put into an induced coma to stop the fitting, he was slowly weaned out of the coma but unfortunately has sustained a certain amount of brain damage due to lack of oxygen when his heart stopped. He is only 34 with two young daughters of 3 and 5 - it will be long and hard before he gets to the end of the road of recovery and we will have to wait and see what the outcome will be. So as you can see, life kind of stopped for me again, I can only hope that it is true that the only way is up!
During this time, the way to de-stress was taking the time to design some files! I have done 6 new ones, so do take the time to have a look - at the very least it's good to have a nose! lol

Update!
Well, I kinda disappeared for a while there eh lol Last post was about the birth of my lovely grandson and then everything went haywire!
My daughter ended up in hospital not once but twice, the second time having to have the wound reopened and stitched and not able to even lift a feather! So it was all hands to the pumps for quite a while but things are now back to normal and she is enjoying being a mom!
Just before this I had bought a new cutting machine from thymegraphics.co.uk called a Cougar and have been getting to grips with this and it really is a fabulous machine! The depth of cut is wonderful, with such a great grip and rollers that I have not encounted ANY skewing whatsoever and would recommend it to anyone. I know that it is sold in the UK, USA and Australia, each having their own dealers, check it out for specs and prices, you won't be disappointed!
And added to that is that I was learning inkscape (which the Cougar can cut from) and turning all my pre made files into svg format - a formidable task giving the amount of detail that my files contain, but they are now in the process of being uploaded to both thymegraphics and thatsscrap web sites.
Now that this work has all been done, it is back to designing and I have several files in the pipeline and they will be available as soon as I finish them!

Fingers and toes and little button nose!
Of course, as one proud grandma, I could be a 'little' biased! But here is my oh so cute grandson Toby John, at 4 days old!Naturally, as male, he took his time and liked to arrive with a bit of drama attached! My daughter ended up having a C Section and both ended up on intravenous drips full of antibiotics - hopefully he will end up giving HIS mother the same amount of grey hairs that mine gives me lol Now off to sneak another cuddle....................

I'm off the hook!
PC Will E. Believeme did not have to interrogate me as reports have started coming in about Frosty's hat being seen on another thatsscrap designers blog, phew! Actually I was secretly disappointed because I had a support group all set up to spring me from jail and provide me with a different identity in another country, this group being led by Mr Doug A. Hole and Ms Mandy Lifeboats!
Mr I. C. Cull - head of S.O.S. (Save Our Snowmen) was unavailable for comment last night, but then what can you say about such a fair weather friend but that he is a drip! One of my friends was very annoyed about the whole situation and wanted to slap him for all the trouble he had caused, but as I pointed out to my friend, Ms Tanya Hide, she was already up on assault charges!
Anyway, you need to keep looking for Frosty's hat as a splinter group of S.O.S. are still on the trail of the missing hat. These are highly dangerous men known as IDIOTS (Icy Dominance In Opposing Thawing Snowmen!) - highly dangerous in that they are hard to tell from all the other men in the world! - Linda (who is sometimes known as Jo King!)
